We have a little Holland Lop who likes to vomit everything. These bowls give her something to do and are a little more of a challenge than a regular grass mat or our own blankets, clothes, rugs and furniture when she's frolicking outside of her cage. She works a little on the bowl every day and prefers to sit inside while she chews. She will sit on it until it is small enough that only one front paw fits in and the last piece does not fall through the wire. They could have been a little bigger and better finished for the price, but overall these bowls serve as both a toy and an extra food source so we're happy and will continue to buy.
