No valve side seal
Great size for an English bulldog! You get width without the excessive height of other doors. Install it like most other brands. The plastic frame is strong, the valve is thicker than other brands. The BIG downside is the lack of a seal on either side of the valve! Frame to valve clearance is 1/8"-3/16" on each side and provides NO SEAL to protect from the elements. Very disappointed with this as I need to 'build' some sort of seal now that the temperature is starting to drop. Without protection, as soon as winter comes, the cold flows unhindered into the house.๐
