This distributor cap is a snug fit on early General Motor vehicles. However, it should be a cheap replacement. Nowhere in the description is it indicated that the clamps are aluminum. The durability of aluminum in this application means a relatively short product life. Do yourself a favor and order a higher quality cap with brass terminals. Yes, they throw more, but your car's performance and distributor cap life will be greatly increased.
