I tried this product because I wanted salon quality nails at home. I hate how quickly regular nail polish chips and manicure appointments can become a hassle. It works as described and is very easy to use. My nails are usually worn for a week to a week and a half as I often cook, wash dishes etc. If I paint my toes the color stays forever (more than a month). However, preparing the nails goes a long way in making the gel polish last longer, so follow the instructions carefully. After a few months I realized that the nail prep (which involves filing the top of the nails) combined with the use of acetone gel nail polish remover was causing the nails to become brittle and soft. So I would recommend using the system for special occasions, holidays etc so you can give your nails some time to recover.
