This is a silky green plant with dark purple leaves. I find it very realistic and beautiful. I'm medium size which is quite tall. The colors are bright, but not so garish that they look artificial. I would love to have real plants one day, but until then this is your best bet. I have a 25 gallon fresh water tank that I decorated with 12 milkweed - small, medium and large - and arranged the plants around the black lava rocks and added a blue background. Vegetable colors look great with stones and a blue background. Plants spread out on both sides of the rocks and sway in the water. As long as the plant is well anchored in the gravel, it will not tip over. The colors of the plants make the coloring of my fish more visible. In addition, the fish feel safer because they can hide among the plants, just like in the wild. They look for missing food in leaves and under plants. There are many small areas among the plants for fish to explore and hide. My little ones seem relaxed and love these milkweed plants in their tank. I am happy with these plants. I love how they add color and texture to my aquarium and fish, like a more comfortable home.
