Marina Naturals Pickerel Silk Plant - Enhancing Fish Tank Decor Review

I bought a pair of these for the goldfish pond. I love her! They look great and give my fish a soft, safe place to explore and hide. This plant has a beautiful natural appearance. I'll definitely be ordering a few more. They may need gluing to a larger rock as they would probably benefit from a little more support to stand in such a large body of water, but even when dropped they look fine. There shouldn't be any problems in the aquarium, as the soil is surprisingly quite heavy.

It was a little bigger than expected, so be sure to check the dimensions before buying. awkward to leave in the aquarium, leaves are strewn everywhere so it tips over very easily. Eventually I just tied some stems together and things got better (don't worry I cut and filed the sharp parts of the strings). It would be nice if the base was weighted more. Let me first say that this is a good quality plant that looks like silk but is huge. Because of the size of the leaves/petals and the thin plastic stems, this thing dangles without moving. Definitely recommend this plant. It's nice and soft and gives my betta the perfect place to hang and hide. I bought the medium size when I should have bought the small. This is a silky green plant with dark purple leaves. I find it very realistic and beautiful. I'm medium size which is quite tall. The colors are bright, but not so garish that they look artificial. I would love to have real plants one day, but until then this is your best bet.
