I have a new DVR and wanted to connect it to announce the need to use the charging port normally used for the phone. Different wire sizes are included so you can quickly add and replace fuses from different slots in your vehicle. A recommendation, before you pick up this kit, take a look at your fuse box and get an idea of what fuses you will be using. Because they have right-angle connectors, some areas of the fuse box are more difficult to reach than others. It wasn't too much of a problem, but if your fuse is near a stud or socket, installing a right angle fuse replacement socket can be tricky. For those suffering from battery drain, I had this problem. For my hybrid, I chose the highest setting (12.4) so the battery would have enough power to still use my remote start and other shutdown features my car supports. I no longer get a low battery warning or disable other functions in my car while the camera is still in parking mode. The included pry bar and voltage tester were a really good expense. Since I don't have it yet, that was because I had to buy it at a local hardware store. Although there are cheaper alternatives, we recommend this kit for its ease of use and flexibility.
