Review on Efficient Storage Solution: Prep Solutions by Progressive Brown Sugar Keeper with Lid, 1.5 Quarts by Beth Olfactory

DO NOT BUY FOR HERMETIC STORAGE! Progressive claims these cans are airtight; You are not! I am an avid baker and cook and in July 2017 I bought this tin to add to my keeper set along with some individual items for different types of organic flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, chocolate chips and other baking ingredients. I just discovered that a bag of rice I bought at WalMart was infested with food moths, wreaking havoc on my pantry, including paper items; I've never heard of them - what a nightmare! As I was sorting through food to throw away, I was dismayed to find moths and their cocoons in EVERY one of these canisters! This does not mean that a seal has failed; EACH OF THEM WAS CONTAMINATED! I threw away all containers with contents. I hate to think how much money has been wasted on both containers and groceries that rely on their claims. I'm looking for airtight storage containers again, but this time I'll check out their requirements. It was a very expensive lesson that I will not repeat.
