I've been buying these for many years, I've probably bought a dozen over time. I throw them out about once a year and buy new ones due to cleaning issues. I only use them for iced tea and the tea stains the inside and molds easily. I bought a bottle brush to clean the inside of the handles. It works, but it's boring. I bleach them sometimes too. I also noticed that the lids don't fit as tightly as I expected, but depending on how they're screwed on, sometimes there's no leaking, sometimes there is. Who I could live with If only they redesigned this pitcher to keep liquid out of the inside of the handle, it would be a much more functional design with fewer cleaning issues. Come on Rubbermaid, you're better than this.
