Something my grandmother could use

I have a small reverse osmosis system and I bought it to store water in the fridge. I was impressed that the opposite end of the white tab was lifted, making it easy to open by pushing down instead of pulling up. There are also raised ridges to keep the water from spilling to the sides as it overflows. For me, the lid is aligned as expected. I can't comment on how well the tongue stays in place with vigorous shaking, but given how easy it is to open, I'd be surprised if it didn't leak a bit…

Difficult to clean. Especially in the handles

I've been buying these for many years, I've probably bought a dozen over time. I throw them out about once a year and buy new ones due to cleaning issues. I only use them for iced tea and the tea stains the inside and molds easily. I bought a bottle brush to clean the inside of the handles. It works, but it's boring. I bleach them sometimes too. I also noticed that the lids don't fit as tightly as I expected, but depending on how they're screwed on, sometimes there's no leaking, sometimes there

Pros
  • Beverage serving set
Cons
  • Can't remember

I bought two of these Rubbermaid jars because the lids of the previous ones were so disgustingly moldy I couldn't use one either good bleach and a few spins in the dishwasher. The old jugs were the perfect size too. That's why I wasn't happy to get rid of them. I bought two more to replace the old ones, but the new ones are much thicker than the old ones and take up too much closet space. But the big problem is that they don't fit in my fridge's drinks compartment (the old ones fit perfectly)…

Must be fake. Weak and full of junk

You must be kidding. Historically, Rubbermaid has always stood for quality. It doesn't cost 99 cents. The jug itself is very thin and thin, like a milk jug. The hat is really great. I've had these in the past and you could keep the jug on its side and it wouldn't leak. This lid doesn't even close. As if this lid was made for a different pitcher. I expect this cap to come loose in less than a couple of days of use, even with careful handling. I can't believe this is a genuine Rubbermaid product.

Too many leaks. - Serving cutlery

I really wanted to like these jugs. They are large and very easy to water. Unfortunately, they lick a lot. I use pitchers for powdered drink mixes and they leak almost every time I shake them. I press the white plastic flap and they still flow. But if it's about to leak while I shake it, I can handle the jugs because I just shake them over the sink. Another problem is that they often even leak when poured. They seem to ooze out from under the red cap. The tightness of the lid is very bad. Most…
