I really wanted to like these jugs. They are large and very easy to water. Unfortunately, they lick a lot. I use pitchers for powdered drink mixes and they leak almost every time I shake them. I press the white plastic flap and they still flow. But if it's about to leak while I shake it, I can handle the jugs because I just shake them over the sink. Another problem is that they often even leak when poured. They seem to ooze out from under the red cap. The tightness of the lid is very bad. Most of the time the bottle is full, I have to get my napkin out almost every time I pour. That's really unfortunate because everything else about these bottles is great. But I had a problem with every bottle leaking so I think it's just bad design. Have been looking for another jug that hopefully doesn't leak.
