The filters fit well, the water tastes the same and they fit my Brita water filter. However, filtration times can be 30-40% longer than Brita. Also, the filter cannot filter that much water at once. Brita easily displaces water well above the bottom of the filter for a more complete fill. They cannot displace as much water and sometimes leave unfiltered water at the top. After repeated use, they were 5-10% more effective. I also fill a 2 gallon Brita humidifier so it can take quite a while with slower filters. Next time I'll spend the few euros more for a brand name. If you don't mind waiting, that's fine and the water tastes good. UPDATE: It does seem to displace water a little better after a few weeks of use, but not as much as the Brita.
