I wanted our family to stop ordering individual pouches of popcorn and microwave popcorn. That helped. It only contains half a serving, which I like. The air popper in our cupboard has to be full or it will blow out half the grains and once it pops it's hard to resist eating 8 servings. . (How does he know that?) It worked the same when I poured some olive oil on the bottom to allow the salt and "yeast products" to stick afterwards. The dishwasher isn't a problem either, although I don't use the dry mode. EDIT: Our microwave sometimes stops spinning. I didn't notice and it melted part of the bottom while leaving most of the popcorn intact and the rest burned. It still works despite the damage, but now I know it should move.
