I have a Labrador Retriever who eats sticks and wood mulch. I have tried several muzzles and he was able to worm sticks, etc through the muzzles and into his mouth, regardless of how secure and tight I had the device. I did need to add a holes to slightly expand the muzzle; however it does fit a Lab's large head, neck and snout. I have two Lab's - an English lab and a Field lab. This is for the English Lab. His head is very large. Yes, the muzzle is pink and he is a boy pup. It does not bother him!
