This refurbished unit looks very good after the refurbishment, fits perfectly and at a good price. Replaced a leaking assembly with a '97 Accord and given the time and labor involved is an economical choice rather than just replacing a leaking gasket. Also, when rebuilding components yourself, you often find unanticipated defects/wear/cracks etc in what you are rebuilding hence the higher initial cost justification but time/effort savings.
