Review on Authentic Kitchen Aid Beater Blade for 4.5 and 5 Quart Tilt-Head Mixer, White, Made in USA by Joseph Quade

I have an old Kitchen Aid mixer and I use the original powder-coated metal whisk. I saw this new style whisk in the store and didn't like the price so came here to Revain to find a better deal. This particular whisk got good reviews so I ordered it. Two things I found: I need to adjust the racquet on my KA as it hits the bowl unevenly in the bowl. (This is supposed to be an easy fix). And yet this whisk is PLASTIC! Pooh. I'm not sure I would have ordered it if I understood the second. I wanted silicone scrapers on metal (like my original whisk). Plastic will never last 20 years like the first one. So the few dollars I saved are lost in the long run. I will only use this for the lightest ingredients like whipped cream, egg whites and the like. It seems strong enough for regular use on lighter items, but I'm not sure it will hold up well when making brownie batter, let alone cookie batter. Such a disappointment.
