Very convenient to use. Flashed my 8.1 Vortec to my 03 2500 Yukon. I always drive a Premium because I mostly tow it, so I immediately gave it a 91 Octane Performance Tune and found that first and second gears were a bit quicker and the shifts were noticeably sharper. There is one more tweak to further improve shifting that I will play with until I like it. Haven't tried towing yet to comment on that. Very cleanly executed, easy to use and effective product. I would pay full price again for another platform if I ever switched trucks. Update 10/27/21 I've been using this for much longer and I'm even happy. I've found the shift pressure I'm happy with and have the option to re-enable the upshift torque control setting when I switch to tow. I used all of the modes, and while I didn't notice a significant difference in the fuel economy settings, I did notice the performance mode and the tow mode. I don't expect any improvement in fuel economy from owning 8.1. I would like to be able to use the time scale up to +4 or +5 degrees to fine-tune the performance mode, but as a daily driver and tow truck I'm happy with that. I would still buy it again.
