How to drink coffee? Get one of these!

So this is the first French press I have ever owned and used. A friend told me she recommends them and as a coffee lover I wanted to see all the hype as they are really cheap and decided it didn't hurt. I consider myself a coffee connoisseur as I've been to several trendy cafes and espresso is my absolute favourite, but since an espresso machine costs a small fortune I've never been able to afford one myself. So I decided to try the French Press. And holy cow, I was amazed. This French press is amazing. I was a bit confused about how it works but a little video showed me that you can make coffee in less than 6 minutes, it all depends on how strong you want it, the type of coffee etc. but I have to say that I am very, very satisfied. It made one of the best coffees I've ever tasted. And the best part is that it can break? I can't see anything that might break unless you throw it off the building. All you have to do is boil water, pour in, heat a press, pour out, add coffee, water, stir, wait a few minutes and then press! It's amazing how easy it is and how great the coffee is. One thing I learned from doing this is that if you don't drink the coffee straight away, pour the coffee into the carafe after pressing, like you would leave it on the beans in a French press, it will become bitter (which I wear doesn't matter, although others could!)

Pros
  • Coffee, tea and espresso
Cons
  • The list will be long.
