I had about 75 audio cassettes from the early 70's that my dad recorded with his friends and family instead of writing letters to each other. Since my father passed away, I wanted to download them onto my computer so I could hear his voice again. I bought this tape recorder specifically to download audio to a zip drive and then to my computer. It worked very well considering the age of my audio cassettes. I'm so glad I bought it as it would have cost me hundreds of dollars to have the tapes delivered to me by an independent company. Happy with my purchase.
