Runs like clockwork right out of the box. It also appears to be a quality product as you can find at Best Buy. It's exactly what I was looking for and the price is right ($11.39). I had to replace an existing second monitor connection, a VGA cable with a VGA to USB adapter that I've been using for years but has been failing for the past week. With this VGA to HDMI adapter, I now have less clutter (remove the old VGA cable and adapter) and free up the only USB port on my Dell laptop, which also eliminates the need for a USB hub, which I do previously had to use to also connect a wireless mouse. With this single cable, my work-from-home setup is now as good as I could have hoped for.
