Review on 📡 Comet SS-460SBNMO: High-Quality 2M/70cm Dual Band Spring Mobile Antenna (NMO) with 3-Year Warranty by Whitney Byers

With a magnet mount in the center of the roof, this antenna was good on UHF (measured SWR from 446 to 448 MHz) but useless on the 2M band (measured SWR from 144 to 150). The lowest 2M SWR was at 149MHz and over 2:1 at 145MHz. Measurements with the MFJ analyzer and the Bird 43 wattmeter gave identical results. Attempting to lengthen the stem within the adjustment range allowed by the two setscrews did not significantly reduce the SWR.
