It works, but the SWR seems to be quite high at 2m. A little more than 2:1 on my RigExpert Analyzer (see photo). 70 cm is better than 1.6:1 on my NanoVNA (see photo). For use with the Diamond K412SNMO mount.

Beautiful 2m stick. I get good reports from the previous Baofeng, it's all an improvement. Can't say anything bad but I don't have an SWR meter. Was a gift, the person thought the cell phone would be longer than the diamond antenna.

With a magnet mount in the center of the roof, this antenna was good on UHF (measured SWR from 446 to 448 MHz) but useless on the 2M band (measured SWR from 144 to 150). The lowest 2M SWR was at 149MHz and over 2:1 at 145MHz. Measurements with the MFJ analyzer and the Bird 43 wattmeter gave identical results. Attempting to lengthen the stem within the adjustment range allowed by the two setscrews did not significantly reduce the SWR.

4/5 stars overall as it has a slight curvature. I bought this to install a lip mount on my truck. The antenna was packaged in a Comet neoprene bag. Inside the sleeve was a cardboard backing to prevent the antenna from bending. I opened up the antenna and everything looked great, but the antenna was slightly bent under the spring.
