Good Drape, Flattering Comfortable Fit, a Must-Have in your Wardrobe

This is my new must-have staple for my wardrobe - I have 6 of them now. The material is 80% polyester, 10% cotton, 10% spandex which it gives the coolness of cotton and the great drape without being too clingy, and not too "billowy" that makes you look like a balloon. There's just enough cotton to keep it cool on hot days. The pleats hide an ample mid-section and doesn't cling to any bulges. If you have a flat stomach (lucky you!), this would still look great. The sleeves end at the elbow juncture which is flattering. The length is below the hips. A very comfortable, good-looking top. I usually wear a 2X and bought a 3X as I wanted to make sure of a loose fit. The 3X was fine, but I tried a 2X and it fit better while still giving a loose, comfortable feel. Keeping my 2 already worn 3X, and re-ordering the rest in 2X. I have the black, blue, green, red-orange, wine red, and purple. As mentioned in other reviews, Red is more of a deep red-orange - a beautiful color but not a true red if that is what you are expecting. Wish they made a white in this design. Note that Allegrace has another top that is very similar to this - it has a round neck and the pleats are attached to a round front placket. This design is better - still has a round neck but the front placket is straight where the pleats are connected. In my opinion a more classic design. Could be dressed up or down. There's a long sleeve version of this which I am trying next for the colder days.

Pros
  • Fabric, fit and style perfect! Washes up well-Ido hang dry my blouses.
Cons
  • Mine was a TOMATO (red-orange*) color...NOT a TRUE-red or even a wine red...I HATE tomato-red!! : )
