A decent shock designed for the 01 Insight due to the cost savings over the OEM, well worth it.
Purchased to understand Gen 1 and installed following instructions on forum www.insightcentral.com. This is a pretty simple layout. This shock absorber is designed for something like an old VW bus but with modifications to fit a newer car at a fraction of the cost of HOnda parts. Everything seems fine. Better than the old ones that no longer existed. I wish it was a little stiffer but for the price I think it's ok for regular use. Definitely not a performance product, but a worthy replacement for stock dampers.
