Purchased to understand Gen 1 and installed following instructions on forum www.insightcentral.com. This is a pretty simple layout. This shock absorber is designed for something like an old VW bus but with modifications to fit a newer car at a fraction of the cost of HOnda parts. Everything seems fine. I am trying these shocks as a replacement for my stock rear shocks. Fast shipping and great price. Sizing is perfect for length and travel, but the "crossbar” that sits on top of the stock shock is large and doesn't slide easily into the top lug hole on this shock.
