Perfect length, perfect compression. From what I understand they compress 20-30Hz as opposed to 15-20 on many products. I prefer heavier compression. I wear 8.5 dress shoes and 9 asiscs sneakers. My impression is that it's a little smug for my 8.5 feet, but honestly not to the point where it's uncomfortable or I can't wait to take it off. I would be concerned about those wearing 9.5 shoes as I would have to suspect they would be a bit smug to the point where I can't wait to take off. As I refer soccer games I can use them for lower level games as they are black which allows me to look in uniform. This allows me to extend the life of my sleeves as I keep them for high level games that require official socks. I prefer them to neoprene sleeves which irritate my skin. Now I only use Neofrin when the temperature drops and even then I put on some worn sleeves, I need to provide a buffer between my skin and Neofrin.
