Having just moved into a house with much closer neighbors and much larger windows than I was used to, I decided the neighborly thing to do was not show my bare bum to the street and find a solution.I was skeptical that these provided both ample light coming through AND privacy from the outside but boy howdy am I pleased. I purchase white to allow as much light as possible, and there’s very little difference inside between these sheers and nothing at all. Better still, you literally can’t see anything in the windows when these are hanging. Believe me, I’ve looked at them from all angles and distances, as my bedroom faces a busy road and I have a lot at stake here.I’ll be ordering more of these for other areas of the house; they’re light and look handsome hanging inside and most importantly, Nosy Nellies will be left disappointed if they’re trying to catch a glimpse inside your home.**Their privacy from the outside only extends through daylight hours. If it’s dark out and you have your lights on, close them blinds. These aren’t that protective.
