I read the reviews and thought I'd take a chance because it's the right color. That's great! I don't know what people mean by "scratch". He is feeling well. I read a testimonial from a girl whose hands were scratched so she gave it to her father, grandfather, second cousin and so on and all hands were scratched. Well I'm here to say it doesn't scratch my hands. I thought when they turned the wheel, what they did was you put your hands up and the wheel rolls under them and back to its original position. I tried and didn't scratch! Thanks to my father's excellent teaching skills, I usually keep my hands at 10 and 2, and I still do. My hands rest on the black fabric part of the cover when you put it on properly. And it was easy to put on. Took me about 3 tries but it's normal for a steering wheel cover.
