Received my new Blackhorse oil pump on 3/13/21. First thing I found was that both the threads on the pump and hose fittings were damaged, both threads were missing. I had to go to the hardware store and buy 2 new hose connection pumps. After that I connected the drain hose and downspout to the siphon hose attached to the oil pump. I place a siphon tube in my 5 gallon bucket of oil and start pumping oil into my diesel engine. The pump worked ok. 4 minutes before it started smoking and smelling awful! After removing the power. I removed the top cover and found the capacitor and all the wiring burned and melted!
