Review on 🧶 ChiaoGoo 7500-C Twist Red Lace Interchangeable Set: Wide Range Knitting Needles from 2.75mm to 10.0mm by Karla Richter

This is the best! I've tried several other replacement needle sets, including Knitters Pride, which once became my *not* spare needle, and they don't compare. I used to hate addi turbos, i.e. all steel needles, because of their hardness and smoothness. But Chiaogoo replacement parts get such rave reviews here that I decided to bite the bullet and give them a try. Now I'm converted! The tips are sharp and strong - perfect for those pesky m1Lpwise stitches - and flexible cords. The connections are precise and very smooth. I haven't had any issues with cords getting loose and falling off the needles causing stitches to fall out. It's very rare for the cable to start slacking, but the high thread count (8 turns minimum) gives me time to feel when my yarn starts to snag a bit as it slides over the splice, and then I pull it just up, no problem. I seem to have lost my former aversion to steel knitting needles, perhaps because my knitting skills have improved over time and I now have no problem with knitting needles that are too slippery. Also, the sharp tips offer a lot more control than the blunt Addi Turbo tips (the Chiaogoo tips can be even sharper than the Addi Rocket tips - you'll have to dig up the Rocket for comparison). I still prefer the feel of wooden needles, but they're good. I've also invested in a set of Chiaogoo 4 Twists and (last) cute little Blue Shorties (just finished a sweater sleeve with them, including ribbed cuffs) Oh, and the storage cases are amazing - well made, strong fasteners - zippers, ease of use. All together worth the price imo. My only gripe with Amazon (or Chaiogoo sellers): Why can't you standardize your needle descriptions and include product numbers in the names? much easier to search, find and confirm I'm ordering the right set!
