This swimsuit cape is very soft and comfortable. It fits snugly in my swim trunks. I love the bag and the sweatshirt. I'm 5'3" and the hem comes down to my knee, just the way I like it. The long sleeves protect my skin from the sun. I wear long sleeve t-shirts under or over my bathing suit before purchasing. I am very sun sensitive. The hood also protects the sides of my face and keeps my head cool. I have baby skin so I need to avoid too much sun exposure. This CoverUp is very helpful. The transparency question doesn't really apply because I bought the black one .I gave cleanliness a 5 because I don't want it to appear like there was anything wrong with it.
