I bought this product 10 months ago for my 2011 iMac. When I tried to use it with Apple products, nothing synced or charged. Only my non-Apple products such as flash drive, android, external battery and headphones synced and charged. I thought it was an issue with the hub as it worked fine when I connected my phone directly to the computer. So I never tested this issue again. Now 2 days ago an Amazon review reminder popped up asking me to write a review which I did and wrote an average of 3 stars. Today I received an apology email from Anker stating that this hub which does not include a plug to use an external power supply is therefore not intended for charging but primarily for data transfer but has been advised if I am not happy , this you will exchange the product. I thought it was a cheap hub that it was a get what you paid for situation. However, before answering the question, I double-checked the hub and everything works! All devices are synced and charged. To be honest I think my iMac had a software update that makes it work because I tried everything 10 months ago. In any case. A great company that stands behind their products and customers. Thoroughly impressed.
