Good. let me say that Anker is a wonderful company.

I bought this product 10 months ago for my 2011 iMac. When I tried to use it with Apple products, nothing synced or charged. Only my non-Apple products such as flash drive, android, external battery and headphones synced and charged. I thought it was an issue with the hub as it worked fine when I connected my phone directly to the computer. So I never tested this issue again. Now 2 days ago an Amazon review reminder popped up asking me to write a review which I did and wrote an average of 3โ€ฆ

OUTSTANDING customer service

Although it appears to function as a hub, it looks more like a USB 2 hub than a USB 3 hub USB external hard drives (WD 1TB and WD Passport 500GB article), Finally, I connected the drives directly to the two USB 3 ports on the motherboard. And guess what, the actual transfer speed has increased from 20-30MB/s to 100MB/s. And yes, the hub originally connected to one of the USB 3 ports per MB. Unfortunately the returns window was closed when I noticed this. I'm giving it a second star because atโ€ฆ

This 4-port USB 3 hub from Anker connects to one of the rear USB 3 ports on your computer. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, which is convenient access to my USB 2 and 3 peripherals. It can also charge devices like cell phones, although I don't use it for that purpose. But we got to this point with some effort, and not because there's anything wrong with the device. When I first plugged the hub into my computer's USB 3 ports, it only recognized USB 2 devices. I called Anker and got aโ€ฆ

Worth the higher price for the quality

Let me start by saying that I rarely review, buy a lot and am more concerned than most about the looks and performance of my workstation. Beware of paying $20 for a USB hub with only 4 ports. However, I figured I better not skimp on Chinese-made accessories compared to $5-10 options and news of faulty USB-C materials. with sunshine and joyful declaration. I loved it (I'm from Oregon, love recycling and wish we had more sun). The device makes a solid impression. The aluminum hub looks wellโ€ฆ

Swing and a Miss (See Update)

Like all Anker products, the Anker hub is beautifully designed. The only downside was that the device's short connection cable required adding a USB extension cable to connect it to my computer. I bought the hub because my Logitech Unifying receiver was having trouble with one of my computers. At random times, the mouse would stutter and/or the keyboard would become unresponsive. This was presumably caused by the receiver being too far away (i.e. only about 3 feet - got it?). Adding a hubโ€ฆ
