Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

I bought a couple in return: a laptop (on Windows) + a monitor. Terribly at first, I didn’t want to pay that kind of money (about 120 thousand), but on reflection I realized that there were no adequate analogues for the same cost. Plus, for some reason, all colleagues have been sitting on imac for a long time, so there is something in this. If you assemble a computer on Windows, then it turns out the same or even more expensive, and you have to bother, figure out what, how and why. And believe me, not everyone understands this, even if they think so to themselves. A ready-made solution in the form of a system unit with a monitor already assembled for you did not attract me either. All this is a non-compact solution with a bunch of wires, a waste of a lot of time and nerves. It’s also not a fact that you will buy something good and comfortable (I have changed about 5 mice in a few years: either they break, or they are not comfortable). But there are those who are pleased to tinker with it, I'm not one of those. It's all in one box. And no detail is in doubt, everything is done with high quality. Bought, unpacked, turned on and work. The system was installed right away, a number of necessary basic programs, everything works fine, it doesn’t get stupid, even a banal program for creating screenshots is thought out to the details (especially in the latest version of Mac OS Mojave), it’s nice to use all this. Mac OS is really much more convenient and better than Windows, and this can be seen in many small pleasant details. As they say - everything is known in comparison. The mouse is fire, but the keyboard is nothing particularly good or bad, clave is like clave. After this device, I sit down at an old laptop and my eyes are dying! :) The screen is very cool here. I didn’t calibrate it or set it up in any way, it suits me anyway. As I said above, this is my work computer, and I load it decently (the work of a graph designer). It satisfies my needs and I think it will satisfy for another 3-5 years for sure without any modernization. Added screenshots with characteristics

Pros
  • - The screen is awesome - Design. Against the background of analogues - this is the most sophisticated and stylish that I have seen - Performance. I have enough of all the hardware (except for the RAM, delivered from 8 to 16 GB, and then up to 32 GB) that it has inside, and I have this monoblock for work. Below is a screen shot with specifications. - Mouse and keyboard included - Easy to replace RAM - Great sound when compared to similar devices with built-in speakers - The mouse and keyboard are charged from the monoblock. Fast charging, no need to buy batteries
Cons
  • - Inconvenient location of connectors. They are behind and to insert a flash drive, you need to dig blindly, either stand up or turn the monitor. Design costs so to speak. - No notification that accessories are running low (before the ate on mac os mojave). Annoyed. - Before the ate, the mouse and keyboard were stupid. Periodically lost contact with the poppy, the reason for this is not clear to me - It is difficult to replace something other than the RAM. Since disassembling this monoblock is not the easiest procedure, no bolts you are used to. Not all parts are replaceable. - Not friendly with uninterruptible power supply. Every time there are power surges, which my 3cott sadly equalizes in half, the imac goes into defense (I guess) and you need to unplug the power cable from the outlet and plug it in again so that it responds to the power button. A trifle, but annoying. I don’t know exactly what the reason is: in the power grid, in an uninterruptible power supply or a poppy. - Siri is dark, terribly dumb
