I didn't notice any problems with the packaging, but when I took it out and tried to use it, I found that the slider was very stiff and tight when pulling out the port. If you look at the photo, you can see that the metal case is dented right next to the light. This thing is well made and I am absolutely certain that if this was done with most other sticks then most other sticks would have decayed. Clock rate when copying, at least 60 MB/s for small MP3s. With large files, the speed reached 250 MB/s! On the copy, the speed reached 345 MB/s with a fairly good laptop running Windows 10. I can't confirm longevity yet, but I suppose you could say it's already used one of its 9 lifetimes! I am sure that it will do many more good!
