Made in China, this outdoor and indoor thermometer set is really good and just in time for Turkey Day! It comes with a 9V battery, easy to install. Back then it was also easy to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and then you can move freely around the house and torment everyone in sight to see what their temperature is like. Just aim and shoot! It has a laser pointer to help you know exactly where to point the thermometer. The dogs didn't appreciate this trait when it appeared on their page, and they decided to walk away. The cats loved it and followed him everywhere. Ha! But back to the clinical thermometer. It was very easy to use and seemed very accurate to most of the things I read. I also like the instant read internal thermometer. Cooks use them all the time. They have a lid and are unobtrusive. Pull the thermometer out of the case, insert it into the meat and immediately read on the C inner or F outer scale. I mean it's awesome and just in time for all the turkey and ham we're going to be making for the holidays, not to mention the candy and fudge! I recommend!
