ACCURACY SPECIFICATIONS: The digital laser measures in Celsius or Fahrenheit with a response time of 500 milliseconds within ±1.5% while reaching up to 5 feet with a 12:1 spot size. DISPLAY/AUDIO TECHNOLOGY: The backlit LCD screen illuminates at night or in the dark including a hold feature and sound integration for notification. Battery included. BONUS FEATURE: The addition of the dial food thermometer gives you readings on internal temperatures instantly from 0-220°F through a needle and temperature sensor in applications such as measuring roasts, casseroles, and soups.

Works well. Seems accurate

It was easy to set up and run. All I had to do was open the battery compartment, connect the included 9V battery and pull the trigger. It was set to show temperature in Celsius, but there was an easy fix - thanks to clear instructions - to switch it to F. After that I pointed it at a few things to see what it would record. The ice in the fridge was just under 32 degrees, as expected. The ghee pan was 180. I keep my house thermostat at 68, and if I point it at an interior wall on a snowy day, it

Handy Combo Thermometer

Seems pretty accurate and I love the instant read indoor thermometer too!

Made in China, this outdoor and indoor thermometer set is really good and just in time for Turkey Day! It comes with a 9V battery, easy to install. Back then it was also easy to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and then you can move freely around the house and torment everyone in sight to see what their temperature is like. Just aim and shoot! It has a laser pointer to help you know exactly where to point the thermometer. The dogs didn't appreciate this trait when it appeared on their page…

Non-touch temperature

Now that I've gotten a little annoyed by walking around and taking temperature everywhere (hey baby, the dog's tail is now 72F), I can a little write a review. All in all it works as I had hoped. I'm limited in its calibration because my notoriously good thermometer has a small range. I felt this was only a degree or two away from what was known to be good equipment in this area.
