I would not recommend this product for the 2008 Toyota 4 Runner - there is a projector lens at the end of the bulb which will most likely make it brighter than it will work This car model as the fog lamp has a metal cover over a normally 9006 halogen bulb to reflect light into the fog lamp reflector assembly. This LED has been replaced with original bulbs which are 10 years old and the performance is still 2/3 better than these bulbs. Maybe this product would be fine with the lamp socket open, but I don't see the brightness as described and have read many reviews to no avail. I pulled out a new pack of Philips Crystal Ultra Vision 9006 and now I have the color temperature and light output needed for these fog lights to work properly. The overall design of the lamp looks good, but this kit is now sitting in a drawer in the garage. I wouldn't call them very bright. You can look at them directly without squinting, you can't do that with halogens.
