Bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter to replace another brand who had a slight leak in her lunch box. Like any kid, I know that. , she accidentally dropped it off the table the first time she used it. He left a huge dent in the bottom of the bottle, making it crooked and unable to lay flat. I'm too nerdy and spend too much time researching items before making a purchase and would almost always rather spend a little more to get better quality. The high ratings combined with the CamelBak name led me to believe it would be of a higher quality. Apparently it's my daughter's fault that the bottle fell down. If your kid has perfect dexterity and never drops anything, I would suggest rolling the dice. If not, search Revain to find higher quality products at a lower price.
