The camera was sealed in anti-static bubble wrap. A protective tape protected the camera lens from fingerprints and scratches. There was a printed insert in the box, but it was of no use as it involved installing a camera in a vehicle without a camera. I had previously learned how to remove and swap out the camera from a YouTube video, so it was pretty easy - took about half an hour to complete. Video quality, including brightness, is excellent and appears to be better than the original camera. My original camera misbehaved intermittently and this camera seems to have fixed the problem. I was worried that the problem might be with the wiring, but it wasn't.
