Review on Long-Lasting EBL 9V Lithium Rechargeable Batteries With USB 5400MWh Capacity (Pack Of 2) by Ray Richards

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Less than 57% of claimed capacity.

These EBL 9V batteries have a claimed capacity of 5400mWh (= 600mAh @ 9V), however, the measured capacities of all four batteries was between 315mAh and 338mAh, i.e. between 52% and 57% of the claimed capacity (see Test methods below). After 3 charge-discharge cycles there was no significant change in capacity in any of the batteries. On the plus side, all the batteries stayed within 1% of their stated 9 Volts throughout the discharge cycles until they were almost exhausted.Test methods:A HiLetgo Battery Capacity Tester was used with the cutoff voltage set to 7.0V and a 100ohm 4W load resistance that maintained approximately 90mA discharge current. Some other brands of batteries were also tested (including Eneloop) and they all tested at 95% or more of their claimed capacity.A capacity test was also run manually on some of the batteries by timing the discharge while using a voltmeter and ammeter. These results were consistent with the results from the HiLetgo tester.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0716ZL1SM?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsesterUpdate (Jan 4, 2023):After reading my review, EBL promptly offered a full refund which I accepted. So, I have raised my review from 2 stars to 3 stars in recognition of their responsive customer service.
