good choice of colors but takes a long time to heat with a tealight/spoon

This is a very nice set of wax pieces, many colors and when you melt them together the color stays separate but blends together. they are meaningless. Three pieces of wax are needed for one stamp. It takes 4 1/2 - 5 minutes to melt three pieces in a spoon, I timed it, no exaggeration. This means you can only make a stamp every six minutes as it takes a minute to pour in and refill the melted wax. If you're trying to create a series of invitations or announcements, you're going to do this all day. Once I realized how long it takes for a candle to melt the wax, I gave up that approach. Then I put the wax in a metal bottle cap and hit it with my artisanal heat gun. It only took a few seconds to melt them, but the lid gets pretty hot so I had to use tweezers to pour it in. It was still tedious to create multiple stamps/envelopes, but it made the process a lot quicker. I'd love to find something that can handle the heat of a heat gun and doesn't feel hot to the touch while still having a spout to pour the wax where you want it, but I'm not sure what that is yet is . a few envelopes and pens, but three uniquely sized envelopes is really a bit pointless to me. I used them to test wax color combinations.

Pros
  • 💌Easy to use and clean - different colors of wax printing wax will not mix and get lost as each color has a separate compartment. Wipe with a paper towel while still hot. Sealing wax melts easily and dries quickly to save you the hassle.
Cons
  • I don't remember
