I'm an engineer. Architects sometimes think the more words they can squeeze into a drawing, the better. So draw those tiny letters on the drawings that will eclipse the small print on medicine packages. It is extremely efficient to read this tiny font. Especially if they were tiny e-sheets spread out on 11x17 paper. If there is a lot of light, it is better to use another magnifying glass without lighting. This tends to distort the image too much around the edges, but if you're 100 feet underground or in the basement of a new build with little lighting, this is the perfect solution. Of course, there are other brands that are only 2-4 times more expensive. If I lose this one or get "borrowed" I just buy another one. However, this one isn't as "borrowed" as the shiny metallic one I had before and is worth half the cost.
