Review on Jim Beam JB0181 Burger Melting by Brandon Plowden

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is a cheaper version but might be workable.

I already have a Cuisinart version of the same size, 9 inches. Cuisinart costs a little more. I bought a Jim Beam version for another kitchen to save $4. The Jim Beam version weighs 259 grams and the Cuisinart version weighs 317 grams. (22% difference, thicker steel). The Jim Beam version has a less durable rolled rim. Second, the Jim Beam version had four dots of adhesive on the label, which I had a hard time removing before exposing the lid to the heat. I suggest you choose quality but Jim Beam version is cheaper.

Pros
  • Large diameter 9" hamburger lid allows you to cover multiple hamburgers and large meals. Ideal for parties, gatherings, cooking and camps.
Cons
  • Not sure
