I had a couple of these on my previous bike. They have a few issues that I think buyers should be aware of. First, the rubber that these tires are made of is not very thick. Even very small spikes can easily penetrate them. So if you decide to install one or two of these studs on your bike, make sure you put tires in them. Second, because of their flexible bead, these tires tend to detach from the rim when the wheel is inflated. Be sure to keep an eye on the bead when inflating your tires. Once the tires are pressed against the rim with the tube with some pressure, this tearing tendency problem is no longer an issue. Their only good side are their streams, which are plentiful and of decent size. Now I can't talk about trails and rough terrain as I ride mostly on city streets, but their threads provide excellent grip on pavement and tarmac. Despite the disadvantages mentioned, I would definitely consider using them on my current bike.
