The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

Somehow I got tired of carrying 28-70 and 80-200 on holidays and trips - it was hard and constantly had to be refastened. For six months I went with 24-120 / 4 - good, but a bit short. My friends gave me my native Nikkor 28-300 for a couple of weeks - I was not impressed (maybe I got such a copy). I took this tamronchik in an online store at random, since there were no reviews or real reviews on it (only performance characteristics). And I didn't guess. Now it only occasionally and only a few frames gives way to Nikkor 20 / 1.8 with a polarizer. With certain limitations, it is suitable for all types of shooting: from landscape and macro to portrait and reportage. P. S. The stub allows you to shoot at 300 mm at 1/30, but in order to avoid micro-smearing from the cotton of the mirror (many mistaken for soapiness), I have to turn on the quiet shutter mode "Q" on the D600. And do not forget to turn off the stub for long exposures on a tripod.

Pros
  • Versatile, fairly light and compact all-in-one lens. For such a zoom ratio, it is surprisingly sharp over the entire range of focal lengths (edges and corners lag behind at the long end, but only lovers of pixel-by-pixel viewing will notice this), CA is practically absent. effective stabilizer. Strict laconic design (does not affect the optical properties, but still nice).
Cons
  • For a couple of years I did not find any critical shortcomings that interfere with shooting. I would like a focus speed like 24-70 / 2,8, a picture of 85 / 1,4 and a constant aperture of 1,2 .
