Review on Logitech MK470 Slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo: Low Profile, Ultra Quiet, Long Battery Life - Off White by Paul Gim ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the product, the quality did not disappoint.

I chose a modern set with a scissor keyboard instead of the old membrane Microsoft 3000. I liked the feeling of working, it looks like a laptop keyboard. But after some time there were slight problems with the space bar. I chose a scissor clave based on reliability, but apparently, now you can’t buy reliable goods for adequate money. The mouse is small, but it doesn't bother me. The design of the keyboard is quite heavy and rigid for stability. In older models with this design, it is possible to vertically install a tablet or smartphone into the groove for the convenience of working with them. In this model, there is no groove, however, as well as the possibility of connecting to other or several devices. Logitech offers other more expensive models for this. The clicks, in my opinion, are quiet (with the exception of the spacebar), just like the mouse. I can't get used to the small up/down keys. Battery consumption, in comparison with the old kit, is very economical.

Pros
  • Excellent design (keyboards and mice), pleasant tactile sensations, economical battery consumption.
Cons
  • The shape of the cursor keys on the keyboard (arrows) is unusual for me. After 1.5 months of use, some discomfort appeared when pressing the spacebar. When pressed incompletely, clicks, when pressed not in the center of jamming. Sometimes there is a fading (delay) of keyboard input, but I'm not sure if this is a problem of this particular model. Judging by the information on the Internet, this is more likely a problem with many wireless kits.
