For my daughter it's great. It does not contain any real makeup nor polish which I'm perfectly fine with. I aready knew it was a Chinese product so I'm not bothered by the quality. Although its not the best ever, for a Chinese toy, it is quite firm. At least that's how I see it. Now, the product does show in the picture that one of the sides stands but in order for that to work for you, you need to apply the extra pink rectangular piece it comes with, similar to my picture below. Also, the white area/table or whatever you'd like to call it, does seem quite flimsy as it does not stick to anything but if your child is going to play , you can attach the light pink side tables with ridges to the white table which will allow it to stick all together. You should be able to hear a click. As for traveling, you do have to detach the light pink table and place everything under the white surface. NOTE: I am a parent who is constantly purchasing toys and I, like many others, look for reviews (from parents who actually bought a certain product and are giving an honest review) to determine my decision on what toys work and may be appropriate for my child. I hope this review helps whoever is thinking on purchasing this product.
