It was great when it worked. I have a very energetic Aussie with walking fixation issues; She loves squirrels very much. Nothing I tried worked, it was literally my last resort to teach her not to chase things off the leash. Living in an apartment did not give us the opportunity to properly exercise the energy before going out, and this gradually became a real problem when spring came. At 66 pounds, which is half my weight, she had to knock me down several times while chasing said squirrels, especially when I wasn't careful. The product suddenly stopped working after the first charge, but when it worked it was great. After charging and reading the instructions, our walks were day and night. This gave me an opportunity to get her out of her obsession and distract her with something else to teach her the good behavior I wanted with some clicker training. The button design is great, it's very easy to quickly get a feel for which button is which. , dont look. Another nice touch is the ability to set tines for thicker layers, making it more efficient at lower levels and battery life longer. However, this product requires a belt clip. Juggling Dog+Remote+Clicker+Dog Treats can be very difficult. I know 2 other people who bought this product and didn't have any battery issues so I'm pretty sure I just have a faulty unit.
