Review on Nspire Dual Bottle Hydration Belt by Zach Sornsin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Stable/Reliable in hydration packs

Overall I am pleased with this hydration belt and consider it the best I have personally tried. front, two straps to adjust tension and some elastic to keep things tight. The bottles are shaped to fit snugly against your thighs/buttocks, minimizing bounce or movement. Don't imagine accidentally falling out due to the attachment loops on the bottles. The bottle valves are really well designed, easy to open with your teeth and pretty much leak proof. I have a Hoka brand bottle with the same valve and used to be my favorite bottle for tap water - mainly because of that really good valve! Item: oh my god I don't understand why the only reflective surfaces on this strap are on the sides of the bottle pouches and the straps that hold the bottles are attached with loops that are literally hidden behind the bottles. Nathan Hydration has long been the brand that I think is number one on the list of running specific hydration products, so I don't understand why they didn't add reflective material to both the front and back of the strap or why they did have it attached reflective surface to an area that is not even visible. Other little things: the bottles are relatively easy to get, but good luck getting them back in place along the way. You'll probably have to stop to put the bottles away because you'll probably need both hands and a pair of eyes to get them out. If you want to mix up your favorite hydration booster, you'll need to make several individual servings. However, they are tiered so it would be easy to make 8 and 8 for most 16 oz pre-serve packs and then do your best to use half that amount in each bottle. I would still like to see something more like a 12 or even 16 ounce bottle. It's not really mentioned in the rest of my review, but the case is big enough for every phone I've seen - easily handles my girlfriend's iPhone 12 Pro. Max - but on the largest phones there is little space left for power supplies (PG, etc.). However, my iPhone 11 Pro leaves enough room for at least 4-5+ gels or gummies etc. Overall, this is the best hydration belt I've tried by far. I almost feel bad giving it 4 stars instead of 5, but I think Nathan is a premium brand that should better understand runners' desire for reflective surfaces on such items.
